Outbound Calling

The Outbound Calling addon lets you make phone calls from your CallScaler tracking numbers. When you call a lead back, they'll see your tracking number on their caller ID — not your personal phone number. Outbound calls are logged in CallScaler just like inbound calls.

There are several ways to make an outbound call:

1. From the Call Log: Click on a call and hit "Call Back" to return the call from the same tracking number
2. From Conversations: Click the phone icon next to a contact
3. Click-to-Call: Use the dialer interface to enter any phone number
4. Via API: Programmatically initiate calls through the CallScaler API

Create outbound calling campaigns to work through a list of phone numbers. Upload a dial list, assign a tracking number, and CallScaler will help you work through the list systematically. Track your progress with campaign-level analytics.

Outbound calls are billed the same as inbound calls — they use your plan's included minutes, with overages charged at your plan's per-minute rate.
